Website, supporter CRM, donations, events, email campaigns and a full financial manager. Donations run through your own Stripe account — we never touch the money and never mark up the card rail.
Design, build and ongoing content service are quoted separately.
For calibration: a real Canadian EDA we audited pays $184/mo (billed in USD) for NationBuilder Starter at 2,000–3,000 contacts — ours at that size is $150, same fee class, bespoke site included. Every comparison here is tier-to-tier at the same fee class: Starter (2%) vs their Starter (~2% hidden), Business (1%) vs their Pro (~1% hidden), priced at the top of the selected band. Starter bands count your email list; Business and Enterprise bands count your email list plus your donors, each person once — never signatures, RSVPs or store buyers. Method in the footnote.
The standard four-tool stack this replaces — one tool per job, no double-counting, priced at your list size from the tools organisations actually run.
| Assembled yourself | $657/mo |
| WarHorse, all of it | $249/mo |
Four tools means four separate copies of your people: the checkout doesn't know who's on the email list, the email list doesn't know who gave, and the CRM knows whatever somebody last imported. Reconciling them is a part-time job you also pay for.
$4,896 a year — and one login, one bill, one contact record.
All-in on a $100 gift — platform fee plus card processing, the only honest basis. Canadian-available platforms only.
| Platform | Their take | All-in on $100 | You keep more |

Card processing is separate everywhere; ours is your own Stripe account at Stripe's published rate (2.9% + 30¢ — charities approved for Stripe's nonprofit rate pay 2.2% + 30¢, taking a Business donation to 3.2% + 30¢ all-in). We never touch the money, so there is nothing for us to mark up. ActBlue and WinRed are excluded — US-only, unavailable to Canadian organisations. Zeffy advertises $0 — it is funded by soliciting tips from your donors at checkout.
The platform most Canadian campaigns and advocacy organisations are leaving.
$50/mo each, on any plan. One included with Business, all included with Enterprise. A kit is a billing line, never a plan: it adds a capability or a module to the site you already have, and nothing in a plan quietly requires one.
Turn a position into a list. Every signature and every answer is a real contact, with its consent evidence attached the moment they agreed: the box they ticked, or the notice they were shown, word for word.
Sell real tickets to real rooms, and know who walked in. Listing events and taking free RSVPs come with every plan; this is the paid door on top of them.
Merchandise on your own Stripe, with fulfilment you can actually work from.
